Food Safety Initiatives

At the Heavy-Duty Laminate Division of our Saitama Plant, we have established the Food Safety Policy and are committed to food safety activities in accordance with the Policy. We have been performing improvement activities to meet the food safety needs of the field of containers and packaging for food.

Food Safety Policy

  1. Contribution to Society:
    With collaboration of our all departments and all employees, we contribute to society by providing products that realize customers’ requirements through our permanent quality maintenance and improvement activities.
  2. PDCA:
    We appropriately enforce the food safety management system and implement PDCA spiral continuously to fulfill continuous improvement.
  3. Periodic Check:
    In line with the Food Safety Policy, we develop the food safety activities according to the activity goals that are established every year and check the effectiveness and effect of such activities periodically.
  4. Legal Compliance:
    We comply with the laws and regulations as well as the matters concluded with our customers and prevent falsification and/or tampering which will be made by giving priority to its own benefit and convenience with firm resolve.
  5. Communication:
    We strive to maintain the food safety management system by enhancing communication with all workers and/or stakeholders inside and outside the company.
  6. Securing Competence:
    We enhance education for all workers and/or stakeholders inside and outside the company and maintain their competence for continuous activities.
